Bryan Danielson vs John Silver (AEW Dynamite main event)

The main event of AEW Dynamite saw John Silver wrestling Bryan Danielson. Bryan showed off his technical excellence early on before taking down Silver with a shoulder charge.

Silver replied with a shoulder charge of his own forcing Danielson to back off into the corner. Silver then hit Danielson with kicks across the chest.

The American Dragon replied by smashing the back of Silver's leg against the apron and followed it up with a knee to the back of the head.

Back from the break on AEW Dynamite, Danielson went for a dropkick off the middle rope but Silver countered it into a powerbomb.

Both men exchanged kicks before Danielson caught Silver by the ankle. The Dark Order got an ankle pick of his own before locking in a heel hook.

Danielson quickly reached for the bottom rope and rolled out to regroup. John Silver hit a cannonball from the apron.

Back in the ring, Silver went for a German Suplex but Danielson landed on his feet before taking the Dark Order member out with a kick.

Silver replied with a boot to the back of the head followed by a German Suplex for a two-count.

The Dark Order member went to hit the Spin Doctor but Danielson broke out and smashed his elbow into the back of Silver's head.

Danielson then hit a Gotch Style Piledriver and locked in a chokehold, forcing the referee to call for the bell.

Result: Bryan Danielson def. John Silver

Grade: A

Bryan Danielson continued to boot Silver after the match. This forced Hangman Page to make the save on AEW Dynamite and chase the No.1 Contender away.
