AEW Dynamite Results: 3 debuts, CM Punk teams up with former WWE Champion, Major title match

CM Punk and Jon Moxley vs FTR on AEW Dynamite (continued...)

FTR were in control at this stage with Jon Moxley isolated in the ring on AEW Dynamite. Mox finally managed to tag out and Punk was all over Dax Harwood.

We got a double team from Moxley and Punk but it wasn't enough to win the match. Wheeler hit Mox with a Tornado DDT at ringside before hitting Punk in the head with the ring bell. He still managed to kick out at the last second.

CM Punk went to hit Harwood with the GTS but FTR countered it with the Big Rig. Mox broke up the count. Punk and Mox went to hit their finishers at the same time but Wheeler stopped it.

Mox and CM Punk then locked in the Rear Naked Choke and the Anaconda Vice at the same time. With the referee's back turned, Tully Blanchard broke up the hold. Punk hit Tully with the GTS. Punk and Mox then hit their finishers simultaneously to pick up the win.

Result: CM Punk and Jon Moxley def. FTR
