Hangman Page (C) vs Lance Archer [for the AEW World Championship]
As Lance Archer's music hit, we saw him and the Champion brawl in the back on AEW Dynamite. They brawled their way out to the entrance ramp and Hangman Page clocked Archer with the Title belt before sending him crashing through a part of the stage.
Archer was busted open already as Champion and Challenger entered the ring.

Hangman Page hit Archer with the Buckshot Lariat but Archer rolled out of the ring because of the momentum. Archer took a trash can lid out from under the ring and hit Page with it as he went for a tope suicida. Archer continued to assault him with the trash can lid as Dan Lambert came down to the ring and unscrewed one of the turnbuckles.
Page and Archer brawled into the crowd. Page hit Archer with a moonsault and both men brawled their way back into the ring. Archer hit the Hellacoaster in the middle of the ring and used the turnbuckle hook to attack Hangman Page.
Archer then set up two tables at ringside before taking out a number of kendo sticks from under the ring. Hangman was also busted open by this point. Jake Roberts took Hangman down at ringside with his famous short-armed clothesline. Jake went for the DDT but Lance Archer stopped him. In turn, Hangman hit Archer with a DDT at ringside.
Hangman Page repeatedly hit Lance Archer with the kendo stick across the back and head but Archer powerbombed the champion through a trash can. Archer then used a fork to repeatedly strike Hangman in the head. Archer then took out a barbed wire chair from under the ring.
The Murderhawk Monster then turned the steel steps on its side and hit Hangman with the Blackout onto it from the apron.
Back in the ring, Hangman wrapped the barbed wire from the chair around his arm and hit Archer with repeated clotheslines.
Hangman followed it up with a Buckshot that sent both men crashing through the table at ringside. This was enough to keep Archer down for the 10-count as Page retained his title.
