AEW Dynamite Results: Big title change, Popular faction reunites, Bryan Danielson faces former WWE star

Bryan Danielson vs Bobby Fish (AEW Dynamite main event)

Both Bryan Danielson and Bobby Fish were in action last night on AEW Rampage, picking up wins against Minoru Suzuki and Lee Moriarty respectively.

Bryan Danielson went for a submission hold early but Fish quickly fought back and Danielson dumped him out of the ring and hit a tope suicida. Fish caught Danielson with an elbow strike before the American Dragon sent him face first into the ringpost.

Fish went after Danielson's leg, trying to ground him, sending it crashing into the ring post. Back in the ring, Fish drove his knees into Danielson's midsection followed up by more strikes and a running knee strike.

Fish was in complete control at this point, still going after Danielson's leg. He then locked in a half-Boston Crab but Danielson maneuvered out and locked in an ankle lock.

Danielson then hit a German Suplex. It was now Bryan's turn to drive Fish's leg into the ring post. Fish struggled back to his feet but was taken down with a chop block.

Both men were on the top turnbuckle as Fish hit an Avalanche Falcon Arrow. Danielson hit back by locking in a heel hook, forcing Fish to tap out almost immediately.

Result: Bryan Danielson def. Bobby Fish
