Matt Hardy vs Penta El Zero Miedo on AEW Dynamite

We got some great showmanship between both men before the action started on AEW Dynamite. Penta started with a low kick before Matt Hardy hit back with a series of overhand chops.

Penta replied with a thrust kick, forcing Matt Hardy to roll out of the ring. The Luchador went for a dive but Matt Hardy stopped him with a right hand. Matt then leaped off the middle rope, hitting an elbow strike.

Penta hit back with a boot across the chest followed by a Slingblade. The former IMPACT Wrestling Champion went for the Fear Factor but Matt Hardy countered with a DDT.

Penta replied with a double stomp in the corner. Both men exchanged strikes on the apron before Hardy hit a Side Effect. Matt Hardy went for a moonsault but Penta rolled out of the way. The luchador capitalized and hit Hardy with the Fear Factor to pick up an impressive win.

Result: Penta El Zero Miedo def. Matt Hardy

Grade: B

Penta was cutting a post-match promo when the lights went out. When they came back on, Malakai Black attacked Alex Abrahantes before turning his focus to Penta. Malakai went for tear his mask off when Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr ran out. Malakai Black looked outnumbered when the lights went off again.

When they came back on, Brody King was in the middle of the ring making his AEW debut. King cleared the ring easily and we may have seen a big change in the dynamics of AEW's tag team division.
