AEW Dynamite Results: Massive debut, Top heel returns, CM Punk decimated, TNT Championship on the line

Sammy Guevara (C) vs Daniel Garcia [Interim AEW TNT Championship match continued]

Back in the ring on AEW Dynamite, Sammy Guevara hit an overhand chop in the corner and followed it up with a snap suplex. Daniel Garcia countered with a backbreaker, catching Guevara in midair.

Garcia took control of the match and quickly locked in a bow and arrow but Sammy countered into a pinning position. Garcia then disrespectfully stepped on Sammy's neck.

Guevara hit back with an enziguiri, forcing Garcia to roll out of the ring. Undeterred, Sammy hit a springboard dive out to ringside, wiping out Garcia.

Sammy was in control at this point as he rolled Garcia back into the ring and got on the middle rope. Guevara took too much time here and Daniel took the chance and sent him crashing to the mat.

Sammy attempted a roll-up before going for the GTH. Carcia countered it into a Sharpshooter but Sammy managed to crawl over to the bottom rope.

Guevara then hit Garcia with a Cross Rhodes but it wasn't enough to put the challenger away. He went to finish Garcia off with a springboard cutter, but Garcia caught him in a chokehold and followed it up with a piledriver for a nearfall.

At this point, 2point0 attacked Eddie Kingston and Chris Jericho at ringside. Sammy Guevara went for the GTH but Jeff Parker got on the apron for the distraction.

Sammy knocked him off before sending Garcia crashing into Matt Lee. Guevara then hit the GTH to pin Daniel Garcia for the three-count to retain the title on AEW Dynamite.

Result: Sammy Guevara def. Daniel Garcia

2point0 attacked Sammy Guevara after the match but Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston came to the rescue. Jericho and Kingston then got in each other's faces as AEW Dynamite went off the air.
