AEW Dynamite Results: CM Punk announces stipulation for MJF rematch, Jon Moxley finally gives Bryan Danielson an answer, Big title match closes show

Bryan Danielson vs. Lee Moriarty

Bryan Danielson offered Lee Moriarty his hand for a handshake. Moriarty went to accept, but Danielson backed off. As both men locked up, the latter forced his opponent back into the ropes and, following the break, hit him with a chop across the chest.

Danielson then took Moriarty down and locked in a Romero Special. He then caught Lee Moriarty with a knee strike to take him down. The former WWE Champion followed it up with kicks in the corner, but Moriarty hit back with a couple of uppercuts. He was quickly cut off by Danielson.

Bryan Danielson was dominating the match at this point as he hit Moriarty with a snap suplex. Both men then traded strikes before Danielson briefly locked in the Labelle Lock, only for Moriarty to crawl over to the ropes.

Bryan continued to boot Moriarty across the head, but he hit back with a suplex. Lee Moriarty went to lock in the Border City Stretch, but Danielson made his way back up to his feet and hit suplex.

As soon as Moriarty was back on his feet, The American Dragon hit him with the running knee strike. Moriarty looked done, but Danielson didn't relent, repeatedly stomping him before locking in a triangle choke. Lee Moriarty was already out, and the referee quickly called for the bell.

Result: Bryan Danielson def. Lee Moriarty
