Mercedes Martinez vs. Thunder Rosa

Next up on AEW Dynamite was Thunder Rosa taking on Mercedes Martinez. This match was off to a violent start as Rosa hit Martinez with a steel chair. She then sent her crashing over the barricade before the duo brawled in the crowd.

Thunder Rosa then dove off a barricade and took out Mercedes Martinez, almost slipping before hitting the move.

The match headed back to the ring. Rosa set up a table at ringside before going for a Death Valley Driver through the table. Martinez blocked it and hit a Fisherman Buster from the apron and through the table.

Back in the ring, Thunder Rosa hit a hurricanrana from the top rope before placing a trash can over Martinez and hitting a running dropkick. She went for a cover, but Mercedes Martinez managed to reach the bottom rope.

Martinez headed to the top rope and hit a flying elbow drop, but it wasn't enough to put Rosa away. A pile of chairs were set up in the middle of the ring, and Thunder Rosa hit a Fire Thunder Driver on the tables for the win.

Result: Thunder Rosa def. Mercedes Martinez

Britt Baker came down to the ring with Jamie Hayter and Rebel. Baker took out Thunder Rosa, but Mercedes Martinez tried to stop her. This led to Hayter taking down Martinez.
