AEW Dynamite Results: CM Punk announces stipulation for MJF rematch, Jon Moxley finally gives Bryan Danielson an answer, Big title match closes show

Sammy Guevara (c) vs. Darby Allin (AEW TNT Championship match)

The match started off pretty even with both stars going back and forth. The first major moment of the match saw Sammy Guevara hitting Darby Allin with what looked like a modified GTH onto the top turnbuckle, sending Allin crashing out to ringside.

Back in the ring, Sammy was back on the top rope. He went for a moonsault, but Darby rolled away. However, Guevara landed on his feet but seemed to be favoring his knee. More back and forth, and both men were on the turnbuckle.

Sammy hit a Spanish Fly from the top rope, but it wasn't enough to put Darby away. Allin then locked in a Figure Four, but Sammy broke free and charged at Darby, going knee-first into the turnbuckle.

Darby Allin hit a Stunner, but Sammy rolled out of the ring. Allin went for a suicida, but Sammy countered it with a cutter on the floor.

Back in the ring, Darby headed to the top rope looking for the coffin drop. Jose came out to intervene, but Sting took him out. Andrade El Idolo then struck Darby in the head with his tablet. Despite not seeing what happened, Sammy took advantage and hit Darby Allin with the GTH to win.

Result: Sammy Guevara def. Darby Allin

MATCH RATING: B+

Matt Hardy was in the ring raining down rights and lefts on Darby Allin after the match. Sammy chased him away, but Andrade sneaked up from behind and smashed him with the tablet. He then seemingly left with the TNT title belts.
