Brian Pillman Jr. kicked things off on AEW with Chris Jericho, starting things off with the younger Pillman initially taking Le Champion down. Jericho replied by slapping Pillman across the face and taking him down. Pillman replied by slapping the former AEW Champion himself.
Pillman tagged in Griff Garrison who hit Jericho with a leg drop. Jericho regrouped and tagged in Sammy Guevara. Garrison took down Guevara with a hip toss before tagging in Dante Martin of Top Flight.
We got some really fast-paced work between Sammy and Dante. Sammy took Martin down with a dropkick before he was hit with a legdrop takedown. Darius Martin tagged in and went to try and pin Sammy. Ortiz came out and broke the count.
We got a massive brawl in the ring after this involving all 12-men. The Inner Circle members came off worse but regrouped after the referee took back control of the match.
Santana and Trent were the legal men. MJF tagged in and distracted the referee as the Inner Circle members punished Trent at ringside. Sammy Guevara tagged back in and had a headlock locked in. The Inner Circle worked over Trent for a while here, tagging in and out all the while, but he eventually managed to avoid a Shooting Star Press, rocking Sammy with a running knee.
Things broke down again, as Dante Martin and Ortiz tagged in. Dante went for a dive over the ropes but Santana stopped him in his tracks. Darius tagged in and took both Santana and Ortiz out with dives over the ropes. Griff Garrison was the legal man after the smoke cleared, and Chris Jericho hit him with a shot from the baseball bat at ringside.
Jake Hager came in and hit Garrison with an F-10 before he tagged in MJF who made the pin in the massive AEW 12-man tag.
