AEW Dynamite Results: Top star destroyed, Former Champion replaces Jon Moxley

Jamie Hayter vs Anna Jay (AEW TBS Championship tournament) on Dynamite

Anna Jay with a pretty strong start but Jamie Hayter quickly sent her out to the ringside area on AEW Dynamite. The fans were behind Jay for this one as Hayter sent her crashing into the barricade.

Back in the ring, Hayter hit a nasty looking boot to the head before sending Anna Jay crashing into the turnbuckle. The Dark Order member soon fought staged a comeback but the numbers were against her.

Jay hit a DDT for a two-count but Rebel then distracted the referee as Britt Baker grabbed her foot. Jamie Hayter capitalized and hit a Lariat to pick up the win.

Result: Jamie Hayter def. Anna Jay

MJF calls out Darby Allin

MJF was out next. He addressed Darby Allin, saying that neither he nor Darby were concerned when AEW signed a bunch of new stars because they were both pillars of the company.

MJF added that he did not understand why Darby was wildly cheered by fans while he was booed almost universally. The Salt Of The Earth added that it was probably because fans were envious of him and he was someone they could never become.

MJF then promised to beat Darby Allin at AEW Full Gear because he was the better man and the better wrestler.

As MJF tried to head to the back, Sting came out and forced the Pinnacle leader back to the ringside area.

The Icon had backup with him and they stopped Shawn Spears and Wardlow from getting to MJF as Darby Allin came down to confront him. They clashed at ringside before Allin tossed MJF into the ring and went for the Coffin Drop, only for the Salt Of The Earth to roll out of the way.
