MJF addresses CM Punk on AEW Dynamite
MJF was out next on AEW Dynamite and he looked more emotional than usual. He said that at one point in his life he only got out of bed thanks to professional wrestling.
MJF added that as a kid with learning disabilities he was only good at football and at one point managed to get into the football team and just when he thought he belonged, he was mistreated by members of the team.
Charlotte Flair to return and wrestle a CURRENT CHAMPION?
MJF claimed that despite this, that day he got to meet his hero CM Punk and when he got home he decided he would become just like his hero Punk.
Fast forward to 2013, despite having offers for football scholarships,he still wanted to be a professional wrestler like CM Punk. MJF added that then in January 2014, Punk left both him and the fans.
The Salt of the Earth said that he then put his dreams on the backburner and went to college. Then, after seeing a photo of CM Punk and Bryan Danielson, he decided to become the best in the world and inspire some kid and home but unlike him, he would not give up.
MJF added that no matter what Punk did to him in the Dog Collar match, he would not quit.
CM Punk then came down to the ring to face off against MJF, who walked to the back.
