Bryan Danielson vs. Daniel Garcia (AEW Dynamite main event)

Bryan Danielson and Ricky Starks locked up as the match began with Danielson forcing Garcia back into the ropes and followed it up with a series of stiff chops and upper cuts.

Daniel Garcia hit back with a series of chops of his own, but Danielson took him down with a Butterfly Suplex which he tried to transition into an armbar and then a Labelle Lock. Garcia reached the bottom rope but Danielson just booted him in the face.

Garcia hit back with a chop block and went to work on Danielson's leg. Both men countered submission holds before Bryan Danielson laid into Daniel Garcia with kicks across the chest.

The latter drove The American Dragon's knee into the ringpost before getting back in the ring and hitting some nasty chops across the chest. Danielson ended up on the apron but he suplexed Garcia out to the floor followed by a running knee strike off the apron.

He rolled Garcia back in the ring and headed to the top rope, hitting a shotgun dropkick. Both men traded strikes in the middle of the ring, Danielson getting the better of the exchange.

He locked in the Cattle Mutilation but Garcia broke out and locked in an ankle lock of his own. Both men traded strikes, rocking each other with palm strikes. Bryan Danielson then rained down boots on Daniel Garcia before locking in the triangle sleeper to pick up the win.

Result: Bryan Danielson def. Daniel Garcia

MATCH RATING: A+

Danielson took the mic after the match, saying he was impressed with Garcia. He was then jumped by 2point0 and Jon Moxley's music hit. Moxley charged into the ring and quickly cleared it.

Daniel Garcia was going to smash Mox with a steel chair but Danielson snatched it from his grasp. Moxley then hit Garcia with the Paradigm Shift.

Bryan Danielson then echoed Mox's words about bleeding together and challenged him to a match at AEW Revolution, but told Jon Moxley not to be surprised if he was the only one bleeding that night.
