Matt Hardy wasted no time and brought out a steel chair early in AEW match, putting it to good use. The match quickly spilled out to ringside and Darby Allin had his face smashed against the mat.
It was a great start by Matt Hardy, who got back in the ring and laid into Allin with right hands. Darby quickly hit back with strikes of his own. Matt Hardy replied with a neckbreaker before setting up the steel chair in the middle of the ring. Darby retaliated by striking using the steel chair.

Members of the Hardy Family Office came out, at this point. The Butcher tossed a steel trash can at Darby Allin's head, taking him out. The Dark Order followed them out and battled the Hardy Family Office at ringside. Sting followed them out and took out Private Party.
Darby Allin was back on his feet at ringside and unloaded on Matt Hardy with the trash can. Hardy replied by suplexing Allin onto the trash can. Hardy continued to batter Darby Allin with punches but the champ wouldn't stay down.
As Darby Allin and Matt Hardy continued to brawl, we saw Lance Archer come down to the ring. Archer hit Isiah Kassidy with The Blackout in front of Sting before turning his attention to Marc Quen. Darby Allin and Matt Hardy continued to brawl on the entrance ramp. Sting tossed Allin the baseball bat but Matt Hardy hit him with a low blow before he could use it.
Hardy and Allin brawled to the AEW backstage area. Hardy set Allin up on a table and climbed a ladder before hitting a legdrop. It wasn't enough for the three-count though. They brawled back out into the arena and Darby hit a low blow of his own. He then got Sting's baseball bat and unloaded on Matt Hardy. He set Matt Hardy up on the announcer's table before climbing up the set and hitting Matt Hardy with a Coffin Drop and pinning him to retain his AEW TNT title.
