In a backstage interview with Alex Abrahantes, Andrade El Idolo announced that he will face Matt Sydal at AEW Road Rager next week.

Kenny Omega came down to the ring for an interview with Tony Schiavone. Omega said that he woke up feeling like a win because he had beaten some of the biggest names in AEW, including one of the most up and coming stars in Jungle Boy. He added that with no one left to challenge him we would have to take some time off from AEW.

The Dark Order's music hit at this point and Evil Uno led them down to the ring. Evil Uno said he felt differently to Omega. Uno said that while none of them had enough wins to go after the AEW World Championship, they knew someone who did - Hangman Page. Omega insinuated that Hangman Page didn't have the guts to face Omega nor did he have what it takes to be AEW Champion. Saying this, Omega bid The Dark Order farewell and left the ring.
