Chris Jericho started by thanking Eric Bischoff for everything he had done during his career. We then got a greatest hits package from The Inner Circle's AEW run.

Santana took the mic and spoke about how everything changed for them on the first episode of AEW Dynamite before paying tribute to the fans. He added that if things ended on Sunday and this was the Inner Circle's last time together, he would have it no other way than in front of the AEW fans.

Sammy Guevara then took the mic and said that if this was the end of The Inner Circle, he wanted to thank the rest of the members for everything.

Chris Jericho paid tribute to the rest of his faction mates, saying how he had been hesitant at first to start his own faction. He also added that The Inner Circle would go down in a blaze of glory on Sunday if things had to end for them.

MJF then appeared on the big screen and mocked The Inner Circle. The Pinnacle had wrestling legend, Dean Malenko, with him in the stadium tied up to one of the goalposts.

As The Inner Circle went to make the save, they were ambushed by The Pinnacle. We saw FTR hit Santana and Ortiz with simultaneous piledrivers through tables. With The Inner Circle members laid out, MJF addressed Sunday night's match one more time before we went off the air.
