Toni Schiavone interviewed Sting in the ring on AEW Dynamite, where The Icon said he wasn't ready to fight until the last few weeks, but the powerbomb from Brian Cage gave him renewed energy.
Ricky Starks came out next on AEW Dynamite and said Sting is no Icon and slapped him. Sting lost it and took down Starks with a Scorpian Death Lock. Powerhouse Hobbs and Hook came out from behind and took down Sting. Just when Cage was about to hit another powerbomb on Sting, Darby Allin's music hit, and he came out to take down Cage.
The heels escaped the ring, and the segment on AEW Dynamite ended with the two teams having a staredown.

Max Caster vs Dark Order's 10 on AEW Dynamite for a place in Face of the Revolution Ladder match
Max Caster and Dark Order's 10 quickly got into the action by having a fun back-and-forth until 10 began dominating the proceedings. 10 threw Caster from the top rope and then walked out himself. On the outside, Caster pushed 10 into the ring post to find his way back into the contest.
Back from the break, 10 was back in the attack and hits a picture-perfect Spinebuster on Caster. However, Caster hits a Brainbuster and followed it with a failed elbow drop from the top rope.
10 took down Caster with a powerbomb but the latter put his leg on the rope to avoid getting pinned. Taking advantage of the referee's distraction, Jack Evans hit 10 with a boom box, which allowed Caster to pull off a surprising victory on AEW Dynamite.
