AEW TNT Championship: Scorpio Sky vs Darby Allin (c)
The AEW TNT Champion offered the fist bump to his No. 1 contender, and Scorpio Sky obliged. Sky, already a champion being part of the inaugural AEW Tag Team Champions SCU, was eager to add another title to the trophy case.

Early on, Sky was flustered by Darby Allin's mat wrestling but managed to get in the match when Allin seemingly injured his ankle diving back into the ring. Sky nearly broke him in half with a pendulum backbreaker. Throughout the break, Scorpio worked over Darby with an octopus stretch.
Darby caught Sky going for a sunset flip, rolling him up for a close call. Scorpio kicked out and popped Darby right in the jaw with a right hand. The AEW TNT Champion responded with the Stundog Millionaire, following up with Code Red. Sky was barely able to kick out.
Sky dropped Darby with a nasty boot to the jaw, following up with a trio of German suplexes, with the third launching him head-first into the top turnbuckle. Darby sent Sky to the floor for a suicide dive, but Sky countered it in mid-air with a cutter. Back in the ring, Darby kicked out a two-and-a-half.
Sky countered Allin's Coffin Drop with a sit-out powerbomb. However, he couldn't get the win. When he went for his finish, Darby pulled out a victory roll, just barely escaping with the AEW TNT Title.
Results: Darby Allin defeated Scorpio Sky via pinfall on AEW Dynamite.
Grade: B+
After the match, Sky trapped Darby in a heel hook. It took several officials to break Sky away from Allin.
