The newly signed AEW talent and former NWA World Champion Thunder Rosa was no-nonsense in this match-up. Julia Hart tried to fire up the fans, and the second she turned her back Rosa went for an ankle lock.
Rosa took Hart to the corner with a clothesline and followed up with a slingshot double knee strike to the chest. After that, she synched in a heel hook. Hart was able to get to the ropes but was met with a shotgun dropkick in the corner.
