#2 The Young Bucks vs. FTR dream match lives up to its hype at Full Gear

Although the two teams had a disjointed buildup heading into AEW Full Gear 2020, FTR vs The Young Bucks for the AEW Tag Team Championships had many fans buzzing and looking forward to this contest. After almost thirty minutes of amazing tag team wrestling, these four men delivered the best match of this year's Full Gear PPV.

Fans witnessed expert selling with FTR focused on the injured ankle of Matt Jackson, and The Young Bucks working over the bloody hand of Dax Harwood. There were beautiful homages to tag teams of the past and awesome sequences between the two units. This battle of ideologies ended with FTR going against their own philosophy, choosing flips instead of fists for the first time.

This miscue led to The Young Bucks taking advantage of the situation to win the AEW Tag Team Championships for the first time at Full Gear 2020. This was an absolutely brilliant tag team encounter and a bonafide Match of the Year candidate.

After four years of hype, The Young Bucks and FTR proved why they are two of the best teams of this generation. Full Gear 2020 will be looked back on for years to come due to this stunning effort from two all time great tag teams.
