Before AEW Full Gear 2020's main card, "The Buy-In" will feature a special NWA Women's World Championship Match, with new champion Serena Deeb defending against Allysin Kay.

Deeb pulled off an upset win over Thunder Rosa to win the strap on the October 27th UWN Primetime Live. She then successfully defended the title against Leyla Hirsch on the following night's Dynamite.

Full Gear will mark the AEW debut of Allysin Kay. The former NWA Women's World Champion made headlines by announcing that she was leaving the National Wrestling Alliance to become a free agent earlier this week. Now with plenty of opportunities ahead, she looks to make a huge impact on "The Buy-In" to AEW's final pay-per-view of 2020.

Kay and Deeb are both solid in-ring performers who have plenty of experience and a vast array of skills to impress. This should be one of the better women's matches that the much maligned division has given us, with Deeb most likely pulling out the victory. Full Gear will definitely have a strong start to what is sure to be a fabulous event from All Elite Wrestling.
