AEW Full Gear Results: Former world champion debuts, Monumental title change, Wrestling legend spotted at ringside

Cody Rhodes and PAC vs Andrade El Idolo and Malakai Black at AEW Full Gear 2021

It looked like PAC and Andrade would start things off, but Cody Rhodes tagged himself in, getting showered with boos from the AEW fans in attendance. PAC then tagged himself in before getting blindsided by Andrade El Idolo. Malakai Black soon tagged himself in only for Cody to jump in and get in his face. Andrade tagged in and blindsided him.

Cody and Andrade then brawled on the apron. Andrade's assistant Jose grabbed Cody's leg, giving Andrade the opening he needed. Cody was on the ascent after this until Malakai Black dropped him with his spinning heel kick. PAC sent both Black and Andrade crashing out to ringside before hitting an Asai Moonsault. Jose confronted Arn Anderson at ringside and the wrestling legend beat up Andrade's assistant, forcing him to retreat.

Meanwhile, Andrade launched himself over the top rope into PAC before launching him against the barricade. Cody and Andrade tagged in with the American Nightmare all over the heels.

Cody took out Andrade's feet from under him on the top turnbuckle before hitting an inverted suplex. Cody had a Figure Four locked in on Andrade when PAC tagged in and hit a Black Arrow for a nearfall.

PAC went for a dive over the top rope but Malakai Black pulled Cody in the way, with PAC taking out his own partner. Black caught Cody with a nasty boot at ringside, sending Cody into the crowd.

Meanwhile in the ring, Andrade charged at PAC who hit him with a belly-to-belly suplex into the turnbuckle. PAC then hit the Black Arrow for the win.

PAC and Cody Rhodes def. Andrade El Idolo and Malakai Black

FTR briefly came out after the match and attacked PAC and Cody.
