CM Punk vs Eddie Kingston at AEW Full Gear 2021
The AEW Full Gear 2021 match got heated even before it began with Eddie Kingston taking out CM Punk before the bell. Punk hit back with a running high-kick in the corner. Kingston connected with a suplex followed by rapid strikes in the corner. Punk capitalized on Kingston relenting on the pressure, taking him out with a middle-rope clothesline.
The match spilled out to the apron. Kingston went for an Exploder Suplex but Punk blocked it and hit a boot to the Mad King's jaw. Punk then smashed Eddie Kingston's hand against the steel steps. Punk went for a GTS at ringside but Kingston sent him head-first into the ring post.

Punk was busted open soon after as he slammed Kingston in the middle of the ring. The crowd were on fire for this match and there was clearly bad blood between the two.
Punk rained down right hands and followed it up with the Three Amigos as a tribute to Eddie Guerrero. Punk headed to the top rope but Eddie Kingston cut him off and clubbed him with rights and lefts. Kingston followed it up with a superplex.
Both men went down before getting back to their feet at the same time and charging at each other, throwing rights and lefts with everything they had. Kingston mocked Punk but used up a few too many seconds as the Straight Edge Superstar hit him with the GTS. Punk didn't have enough left to make the cover.
Kinston got back on his feet and went for a spinning backfist but missed. Punk rained down right hands at Kingston, shocked that fans were booing him. He then hit Kingston with another GTS and this time it was enough to put Kingston away. Incredible match.
