Pro-wrestling legend Baron von Raschke was spotted at ringside before this AEW Full Gear 2021 match got underway.
AEW TNT Champion Sammy Guevara and Scorpio Sky started for their respective teams. Guevara got off to a flyer for his team, dominating Sky and tagging in Ortiz. Proud N Powerful double-teamed him as Santana came in as the legal man.

He then had Scorpio Sky in a vertical suplex position as Jake Hager tagged in. Hager finished the suplex, forcing Sky to tag in Andrei Arlovski. He hit a Samoan Drop and tagged in Junior Dos Santos. Hager tagged out to Chris Jericho, who charged at JDS. Dos Santos caught him in midair and hit a powerslam. He followed it up with a vertical suplex and a standing moonsault. JDS then tagged in Dan Lambert.
Lambert slapped Jericho across the face and literally ran circles around him. As Jericho went to strike Lambert, things broke down. Santana and Ortiz hit a double tope suicida as Jake Hager headed to the top rope.
He launched himself at a sea of people at ringside, wiping everyone out. Jericho went after Lambert but was stopped by Sky and then Ethan Page. Ortiz had a chair wrapped around his neck and was sent crashing into the ring post.
Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page had Santana isolated in the ring. Santana fired back with right hands as Oetiz came in to back up his partner. Cage had a trash can over him as Santana and Ortiz unloaded with hockey sticks. We then got an inclredible double team submission from Santana and Ortiz on Sky and Page.
Arlovski came into the ring and hit a running splash in the corner. Page then caught Ortiz with a boot to the head. Men Of The Year then isolated Jake Hager in the ring as Jericho came in with a water-ski.Things had well and truly broken down by now. Santana and Ortiz hit JDS with a superplex. Ethan Page got in Jake Hager's wife's face only for wrestling legend Baron Von Raschke to lock in the claw.
Dan Lambert and Jericho were in the ring. Jericho went for the lionsault but Jericho caught him with a right hand. Lambert got a nearfall off the cover. Jericho then unloaded on Lambert with a kendo stick and followed it up with a stapler shot to the abdominal area. Jericho then paid tribute to Eddie Guerrero with a Frog Splash to Lambert and picked up the win for his team.

Tony Schiavone introduced the newest member of the AEW roster, Jay Lethal. He said that he had found the forbidden door and he was now All Elite. Lethal then challenged TNT Champion Sammy Guevara to a title match on AEW Dynamite this Wednesday night. Sammy Guevara came out and accepted the challenge.
