Kenny Hangman (C) vs Hangman Page for the AEW World Championship

Hangman Page's entrance here has to be one of the most epic in recent memory, at least in AEW. The match started with both men locking up and then trading chops in the middle of the ring. They followed up with more chops in the corner. Don Callis caught Page's boot from ringside, giving Kenny Omega the opening to blindside the challenger.

The Cleaner then had the referee distracted as Callis choked Page against the bottom rope. Page hit back, sending Omega out to ringside. Callis distracted the challenger again, giving Omega the opening to take back control. Page hit back with a suplex at ringside.

Back in the ring, the champion hit a thumb to the eye, taking back control of the match. The match spilled out to ringside again as Omega slammed Hangman's face against the steel steps. He then hit a Terminator dive to the outside.

Omega went for a splash off the middle rope but Page got his knees up. He dropped the champion again with a big boot before unloading on him with right hands. Hangman followed it up with a Fallaway Slam and a kip up and then a tope suicida. He then hit a Orihara moonsault off the top rope, wiping out the AEW World Champion.

Back in the ring, Hangman Page hit a brainbuster. Kenny Omega hit back with a Springboard Liger Bomb from the apron to the ring. The world champion followed it up with a snapdragon suplex. Omega was dominating the match at this point, even biting the challenger at one point. Omega then headed to the top rope but Hangman cut him off, hitting an incredible gutbuster off the top rope.

Omega was reeling at ringside as Hangman headed to the top rope and hit a flying clothesline, both men going through the announcer's table. With Omega back in the ring, Hangman went for a Buckshot Lariat but Omega fell down. Hangman went for the V-Trigger but missed.

Omega went for a German Suplex but Page landed on his feet and hit a rolling lariat. Hangman went for the Buckshot again but took the referee out by accident. Don Callis took the title belt and went to strike Page, who took him down. He then hit Omega with a Deadeye but the referee was down. Referee Aubrey Edwards ran down to the ring but Omega kicked out at the last second.

Hangman intercepted a V-Trigger and followed it up with rights and lefts. Omega connected with his next V-Trigger attempt. Omega followed it up with repeated boots to the head before Hangman got in Omega's face. More kicks from Omega before Hangman took him down with a clothesline.

The Young Bucks came down to ringside at this point. Hangman went for the Buckshot Lariat but Omega hit a V-Trigger. Omega went for One Winged Angel but the Cowboy got out of it and hit one of his own.

Page then got on the apron to hit a Buckshot Lariat but Nick Jackson gave him a look of respect and didn't stop him. A second Buckshot Lariat and this time Matt Jackson, with tears in his eyes, nodded at Page as he hit the second. Page then covered Omega for the win. What a match, what a finish, what a moment!
