Darby Allin (C) vs Brian Cage (for the TNT Championship)
Darby Allin went right after Brian Cage's knee as soon as the bell rang but his momentum did not last long on AEW. The action soon spilled out to ringside and Cage sent Darby Allin through the table in the time keeper's area. Allin was busted open and his face was covered in blood.
Back in the ring, Cage tossed Allin around the ring like a sack of potatoes. Cage continued to club Allin as AEW headed to the commercial.
Brian Cage continued to punish Darby after the AEW show was back from the break but he just could keep the defiant champion down. Cage followed it up with a powerbomb onto the entrance ramp. Cage deadlifted Allin and hit him with a suplex back into the ring. It still wasn't enough to put the champion away.
Cage then headed out to AEW ringside and set up the steel steps at ringside. Darby pushed Cage onto the steps before heading to the top turnbuckle and hitting a Coffin Drop onto the steps. Both men rolled back into the ring and Allin hit Cage with a slap across the face. Darby then used his belt to tie up Cage's legs and punched him in the back of the head.
Cage freed himself but Darby Allin caught him with a Code Red for a nearfall. The champion followed it up with a shotgun dropkick for a two-count. Allin headed to the top rope but Ricky Starks pushed him off. The lights went out at this point and Sting appeared at the AEW ringside with his baseball bat and took care of Starks. Darby Allin used the opening to hit a Crucifix Bomb from the top rope top pin Brian Cage.
