#3 AEW star Jungle Boy reveals if the company delayed his push due to the pandemic

Jungle Boy will soon challenge Kenny Omega!

AEW star Jungle Boy became a star overnight after winning the 21-men Casino Battle Royale at Double or Nothing.

His big push was long overdue and many people believe that the company didn't pull the trigger on Jungle Boy sooner due to the empty arenas.

Speaking at the post-show media scrum, AEW star Jungle Boy talked about various topics, most notably whether the company delayed his push due to the pandemic era. Here's what Jungle Boy had to say about it:

"I’m not fully sure about that. I feel like through the pandemic I had some pretty cool moments. I got to wrestle Cody, which felt like a really big one for me. It was super cool but in a way it was a bummer to do it in front of an empty arena. That’s something I would’ve loved to do with all these people here," said Jungle Boy (H/T - WrestlingInc).

The company may have been hesitant to push him earlier without a live audience. However, that all changed this past Sunday when the company pulled the trigger on Jungle Boy at Double or Nothing.
