#2 The Inner Circle reveals the original idea for their entrance at AEW Double or Nothing
AEW's Chris Jericho and his Inner Circle recently revealed that the original idea for their entrance at Double or Nothing was to rappel down from a helicopter.
The Inner Circle defeated the Pinnacle in a gruesome Stadium Stampede match, which took place on May 30th pay-per-view. The Chris Jericho-led stable made their entrance in zip lines, descending from the top of the TIAA Bank Field.
On the latest episode of Talk Is Jericho, members of the Inner Circle discussed special revelations about their Stadium Stampede match. AEW star Santana stated that their original idea was to make their entrance through a helicopter.
"The original idea we all had was to have a helicopter fly over the stadium and we all rappel out of the helicopter. We had mentioned that to [Jericho] and you go, 'Ya'll can rappel. That helicopter is going to lower and I will walk right out of it," said Santana.
AEW star Chris Jericho then stated that the plan was nixed due to insurance issues. He added that had the plan been implemented, AEW star Sammy Guevara would have jumped out of the helicopter during the entrance.
"We were told we couldn't do the helicopter because of the insurance. No one can get thrown out of the helicopter because of the insurance. Who wants to get thrown out of the helicopter? Sammy." said Chris Jericho.
Even though the original idea didn't get approved, the Inner circle had a breathtaking entrance that night.
