Konnan recently revealed his conversation with AEW president Tony Khan regarding the potential signing of Daniel Bryan.

Apart from CM Punk, Daniel Bryan is also set to snub WWE and join AEW. There have been many credible reports that have surfaced regarding his contract details with the company.

The company may be planning to make Daniel Bryan's debut at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York, which will host a special Dynamite episode. Fans have since gone crazy on social media, with the majority already making Bryan's list of dream opponents in the company.

WCW legend Konnan has now sparked rumors by revealing his conversation with Tony Khan. He stated that he asked the AEW president regarding the credibility of Daniel Bryan joining his company because he was planning to have the former WWE superstar wrestle on AAA. Konnan further added that Khan smiled when asked about Bryan appearing at the Chicago event:

I will tell you this because I did ask Tony Khan,” Konnan said. “The only reason I asked him is because I wanted to use Bryan Danielson in AAA. I was like, ‘Hey man, have you signed Bryan Danielson?’ He goes, ‘You know I can’t tell you that’ and then I looked at him and I go ‘bro, if that **** shows up in Chicago, that place is gonna melt’, and he just smiled. So I think he might have but he has not told me.” (H/T - WrestlingInc)

It remains to be seen whether Bryan will debut in Chicago or New York. Nevertheless, headlines will be made the day he becomes AEW bound.
