#1 AEW star Matt Hardy has his say on the Kenny Omega - Roman Reigns - Randy Orton debate

AEW veteran commentator Jim Ross recently started an interesting debate on who's the best wrestler in the world today. JR stated that WWE Superstar Randy Orton is the best wrestler in the world. In response, Chris Jericho chose AEW World Champion Kenny Omega.

Matt Hardy recently took to Twitter to give his take on the ongoing debate. He initially stated he's a fan of all three of them given their caliber as wrestlers but hinted that he had chosen Kenny Omega as the best in the world currently.

"Solid & fair take. As people & performers, I like Kenny, Randy & Roman. They’re all very different, but awesome at what they do. Kenny catches flak cuz of his past & over the topness, but there’s no denying he’s currently killing it, esp considering the AEW style. He’s special," said Hardy.

Matt Hardy had earlier supported his claim on Twitter by stating that Kenny Omega is special and those who don't understand this are not seeing his approach towards wrestling.

"Those who can’t see or understand how special of a performer @KennyOmegamanX is are out of touch. Kenny brings a fresh & unique approach as an @AEW champion, along with dazzling athleticism & incredible matches. I stand with Omega," said Hardy.
