After reports emerged about Don Callis quitting the EVP post at IMPACT Wrestling, fans began to speculate about his role in AEW.

Speaking to the post-show media scrum after Double or Nothing, Tony Khan clarified that Don is a big part of the team. He said that as long as Kenny Omega is the champion, Don will continue to make appearances alongside him.

"Don is a big part of our television. Don's here every week, so Don is with us at AEW. He's a part of the team as Kenny's mouthpiece, Kenny's advisor, and Kenny is on the show every week so Don is on the show every week, and every pay-per-view. As long as Kenny is the champion, Don is a huge part of AEW. Don is an important member of the team here every week,” said Tony Khan.

Khan further stated that Don Callis is a backstage consultant and helps Kenny Omega with his segments. The Cleaner's association with Don Callis has proved to be a successful move so far.
