#2 Friday Night Dynamite hit all-time low record ratings in AEW history
Last week on Friday, AEW produced its special episode go-home Dynamite before Double or Nothing. Despite Eric Bischoff's special appearance and brawl out between the Inner Circle and The Pinnacle, the show couldn't attract viewers.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio, the show drew 526,000 viewers on TNT, an all-time low in AEW history.
The ratings fell 36%, down from the previous week's episode on Wednesday, which drew 821,000 viewers.
In the key 18-49 demographic, Friday night Dynamite drew a 0.20 rating, which was also lower than the previous Wednesday episode, which drew 0.28.
Although the company did manage to produce an eventful Double or Nothing, the numbers will be a concern as long as Dynamite airs on Friday.
Just like last week, this week's episode of Dynamite will also air on Friday night, and AEW will look to turn it around as they have already announced a stacked card.
While the NBA playoffs are a cause for concern at the moment, it remains to be seen what the company plans on moving forward.
