AEW's rising talent Daniel Garcia has named Bryan Danielson his favorite wrestler of all time.
While speaking on Jon Alba's One on One podcast, Garcia revealed that he had studied Bryan's in-ring technique while growing up. He doesn't think their wrestling style is similar, but a few things that they do might look similar:

"He’s maybe my favorite wrestler of all-time. At least top three. He’s somebody who I’ve studied for years, even before I knew that I was studying wrestling, just by watching him. I would pick up little nuances that he does. I feel like our wrestling styles aren’t as similar as some people like to say they are, but I feel like our, the little things that we do, are a lot more similar than a lot of people would like to notice," said Garcia.

Daniel Garcia is currently on the receiving end of a mid-card push, where he has fought against top-notch stars like Jon Moxley and CM Punk. It will be a dream come true for him if AEW books him against Bryan Danielson down the road.
