Mark Henry was recently named CEO of a major promotion following his exit from All Elite Wrestling. Haley Cameron has also confirmed her divorce from a former WWE star. So, without any further ado let's dive deep into all of these stories.
#5) Harley Cameron confirmed her divorce from former WWE star
Harley Cameron was in a relationship with former WWE star, Xyon Quinn, but things between the two have now ended. The former couple got engaged in Australia back in 2018 before moving to the United States.
During an interview with Highspots, Cameron revealed that she and her real-life partner have separated and that their marriage is now over. She referred to it as a closed chapter of her life.
"My ex-husband... My ex-partner," she revealed. "It's okay, it's okay. Wish him well, nothing bad to say, but yes, that is a closed chapter of my life." [H/T: WrestlingInc]
#4) Former AEW star reacts after Hulk Hogan gets booed at WWE RAW's Netflix premiere
Hulk Hogan made a surprising return at Monday Night RAW during the show's Netflix premiere. However, the WWE icon's return wouldn't go down too well. The Los Angeles crowd at RAW showered Hogan with boos during his promo segment.
Former AEW star, Joey Janela would give his thoughts on the crowd adamantly rejecting the Hulkster upon his return. Janela had previously expressed his excitement over on X of seeing Hulk Hogan's return but it would quickly die down after watching his idol getting lambasted with boos.
"Da*n! Hulkamania is dead!" Joey Janela wrote.
#3) NJPW suspended a major name for criticizing Tony Khan and AEW
NJPW and AEW recently put on the Wrestle Dynasty 2025 pay-per-view at the Tokyo Dome. However, major wrestling personality, Chris Charlton would put a slight damper on the event with his negative remarks against Tony Khan and All Elite Wrestling.
Charlton would begin criticizing Tony Khan during the much-anticipated bout between Kenny Omega and Gabe Kidd. He would refer to him as a 'money mark' and would even accuse him of stealing top talent from NJPW, which did not go over well backstage.
The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer reported that Charlton is now on an indefinite hiatus. Even though some seemingly praised his actions, there were quite a few who saw his comments as beyond acceptable. The report also claimed that NJPW added that neither Tony Khan nor AEW had any role in his suspension.
#2) Mark Henry named CEO of major promotion after leaving AEW in 2024
Mark Henry is still making waves in the professional wrestling industry following his exit from All Elite Wrestling in 2024. The World's Strongest Man has been officially named as the CEO of a major wrestling promotion, All Caribbean Wrestling (ACW).
ACW started back in 2022 and would start picking up steam on the independent wrestling circuit soon. ACW is now looking to expand its presence as they put out a press release announcing that Mark Henry is set to lead the company, moving forward.
"All Caribbean Wrestling [ACW] is proud to announce that WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry has been appointed as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. A titan in the world of professional wrestling and sports entertainment, Henry’s unparalleled experience and vision mark a transformative era for ACW, as it continues to grow its global presence," the statement read.
