A rumor killer has emerged on the speculation of Tony Schiavone being suspended from All Elite Wrestling. Tony Khan has also signed a popular tag team to AEW. So, without any further ado let's dive deep into all of these stories:
#5. Tony Khan has officially signed a popular tag team to AEW
Tony Khan is looking to boost the tag team division and add some much-needed depth to his roster. To achieve those goals, Khan has officially signed a popular tag team to his company, and they are Marshall and Ross Von Erich.

Marshall and Ross Von Erich are third-generation wrestlers and are the sons of wrestling legend Kevin Von Erich. The duo is also Ring of Honor Six Man tag team champions with Dustin Rhodes.
Marshall and Ross announced the news of their signing over on their Claw podcast, where the former said:
“Today, on this day, we can officially say that Ross and Marshall Von Erich are officially signed with AEW. The 12-year journey, it's not an expensive hobby anymore.” [H/T Fightful]
#4. Seth Rollins revealed his true feelings about Jon Moxley
Seth Rollins was once part of one of the greatest groups in WWE history The Shield with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose (now known as Jon Moxley.) Rollins recently recalled a special moment with Moxley back in 2016.
The former WWE Champion spoke in an appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet and recalled the 2016 Money in the Bank PLE where all three members of The Shield were World Champions in a single night. Rollins would also reveal how he felt giving up his newly-won title to Jon Moxley when he cashed in the briefcase on him that night.
“The second one, it was only 30 seconds or something like that, but that's huge, you know? Like the night that all three of us were champions at the same night, same time—like that's me, Mox, and Roman—that's very cool and very rare. You don't get to see that, and you don't get to, you know. I got to hand that to Mox, who is someone that I love and admire, and to be able to be the guy to give him his first championship is really a special thing," stated Seth Rollins.
#3. Mercedes Mone revealed that she had a panic attack before her history-making performance
Mercedes Mone recently made history with her win against Mina Shirakawa at WrestleDynasty to capture the RevPro British Undisputed Championship. She has now officially become a triple champion following her win at the Tokyo Dome.
The AEW TBS Champion spoke about all the nerves leading up to the match in the latest edition of her Mone Mag newsletter. The CEO would reveal that sheun had a panic attack before the match.
#2. Rumor Killer on Tony Schiavone being suspended from AEW over deleted post
Tony Schiavone was absent from this week's Dynamite, which led to many fans speculating on the reason for his absence. The lead AEW announcer had recently thrown a jab at Chris Charlton on X (fka Twitter) over the latter's criticism of Tony Khan and his promotion during Kenny Omega's match against Gabe Kidd.
However, Schiavone would later delete his post on X. His absence on the recent episode of Dynamite led fans to speculate that Schiavone had landed himself in trouble and had been removed from the show. However, Dave Meltzer would clarify the situation over on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Meltzer stated that Schiavone's absence from AEW Dynamite had nothing to do with his comments against Charlton. He was absent due to a family situation.
#1. Top AEW star sent a special message to Giulia following the WWE championship win
Giulia recently ascended to the top of WWE's third show, NXT as she dethroned Roxanne Perez to win the NXT Women's Championship at the New Year's Evil special. The former Stardom star had a meteoric rise as she won the top prize on the show only 128 days after debuting.
Giulia has been receiving many messages congratulating her and would receive one from a popular AEW star Mina Shirakawa. Shirakawa who is close to Giulia. The two have teamed up during their time in Stardom. Min shared a photo with her friend when they recently reunited in the United States last year:
"Last year, I met her in the US. As always, She's incredible powerhouse! [star emoji] I'm motivated to push myself even further. Congratulations from the bottom of my heart [heart with stars emoji] @0221giulia [heart with flames emoji]," Mina Shirakawa wrote.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the newly-crowned NXT Women's Champion.
