Adam Cole and The Young Bucks vs. Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy, and Christian Cage on AEW Rampage: Grand Slam
Christian Cage and Matt Jackson started things off on AEW Rampage. Christian caught Matt with a right hook early on, almost forcing him to tag out.
Matt briefly took control before charging at Christian in the corner, crashing into the turnbuckle after getting sidestepped. The IMPACT Wrestling World Champion quickly tagged out with Jungle Boy as the fresh man while Nick Jackson tagged in for his team.
Jungle Boy took down both members of The Young Bucks with a double arm drag before chasing Adam Cole out to ringside. This proved to be a mistake as The Bucks caught Jungle Boy with a double superkick. Luchasaurus fought back for his team at ringside, but the numbers proved to be too much.
In the ring, Adam Cole had Jungle Boy caught in a recliner as The Bucks hit him with a simultaneous double dropkick.
Back from the ad break, Luchasaurus tagged in and was all over both members of The Young Bucks. He went a double chokeslam, but Adam Cole came in with a boot.
Luchasaurus then avoided a double dropkick and took out The Young Bucks with a tailwhip and a superkick. He then chokeslammed Cole into one of his partners.
Things broke down a bit at this point as the referee lost control of the match. We saw some incredible action from Jungle Boy as he hit one of The Young Bucks with a hurricanrana from the middle turnbuckle, immediately following it up with a German Suplex.
Cole and Luchasaurus took each other out with simultaneous pump kicks. Jungle Boy hit a dive onto the ramp, but Nick Jackson caught him with a superkick. The Young Bucks then tossed both Christian Cage and Jungle Boy off the entrance ramp. Luchasaurus and Adam Cole were in the ring.
Cole was all over the giant, hitting him with the Panama Sunrise. The Bucks then hit him with a BTE Trigger, and Cole finished it off with The Boom to win the match.
