Jon Moxley vs Daniel Garcia (AEW Rampage main event)

Next up, we had the main event for AEW Rampage: The First Dance with Jon Moxley taking on Daniel Garcia.

Moxley was all over Garcia during the opening moments of their match. It looked like the bout would end quickly, but the young AEW star soon hit back. Garcia had a plan, going after Moxley's leg, trying to immobilize the former AEW World Champion.

Garcia was impressive, but Moxley soon hit back with a clothesline. Both men traded shots before Moxley went after his younger opponent with headbutts. Moxley then dropped Garcia with a release vertical suplex. Mox tried to follow it up with a Paradigm Shift, but Garcia countered and locked in his modified Boston Crab. Mox countered back, and he locked in the Bulldog Choke. This forced Daniel Garcia to tap out.

Result: Jon Moxley def. Daniel Garcia

Grade: B+

After the match, Daniel Garcia attacked Jon Moxley, and 2.0 joined him, outnumbering the former AEW Champion and Eddie Kingston.

This led to Darby Allin and Sting coming down to the ring as they helped turn the numbers game around. Mox was in no mood to play and took out Garcia with a Paradigm Shift.

Sting then hit the Stinger Splash to 2.0 in the corner. The WCW Legend then hit Jeff Parker with a Scorpion Death Drop. Darby Allin then hit a double Coffin Drop to 2.0 to finish things off.

What a night! Thanks for joining us on Sportskeda Wrestling for our coverage of AEW Rampage!
