AEW Rampage Results: Sting destroyed after brutal attack, bloody street fight, Big title match

Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Ethan Page (AEW TNT Championship match)

Cody Rhodes started the match on AEW Rampage in control, making a strong start. Dan Lambert quickly got involved from ringside, trying to grab Rhodes' foot.

Cody quickly fought back and went for a Cross Rhodes on the apron. Ethan Page blocked it and pushed Cody Rhodes out onto the floor before hitting a flying shoulder tackle out to ringside. Page then sent Cody head-first into the ringpost.

Cody took back control of the match during the commercial break and started to work on Page's left leg. He hit a dragon screw and quickly followed it up with a Figure 4 leglock but Page managed to crawl over to the bottom rope.

Ethan Page fought back with a shoulder tackle, following it up with a series of right hands. He was clearly feeling his leg at this point but still managed to hit Cody with a back bodydrop followed by a DDT for a two-count. Page then rolled Cody out of the ring and Scorpio Sky laid in a few shots.

Arn pulled Scorpio Sky off before Dustin Rhodes came out and chased him away. Ethan Page then hit an avalanche powerslam from the top rope.

Cody hit back with a Cody Cutter and then locked in a Figure 4 Leglock in the middle of the ring. Page reversed the hold. Both men exchanged roundhouse kicks. Page then went to finish Cody Rhodes off with the Ego's Edge but Cody grabbed his leg to block it. Cody follows it up with two Cross Rhodes' followed by a Tiger Driver 98 for the win.

Result: Cody Rhodes def. Ethan Page
