#1. Former WWE Superstar Mike Rotunda’s son Windham Rotunda aka Bray Wyatt could join AEW
AEW has kept a close eye on some of the biggest names in WWE. Former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt has one of the most creative minds in the ring. However, WWE made a shocking decision to release him in July 2021.
He’s the son of former WWE Tag Team Champion Mike Rotunda. Wyatt will be free to sign with another promotion as soon as his non-compete clause comes to an end.

In an appearance on WFAN's Moose & Maggie Show, Tony Khan was asked about Bray Wyatt potentially joining his company. Khan stated that he hasn’t spoken to the former WWE Champion but was not ruling anything out:
"He’s a great wrestler, and I have to be honest, we haven’t talked at all. I’ve known him in personal life, but in reality, we haven’t talked. But you never know," said Tony Khan.
Cody Rhodes has also spoken about how Wyatt could fit into AEW more easily if he wanted to join the company.
"The Rotunda family and the Rhodes family certainly go way back. I can't comment on if I see a spot for him. But I can tell you [he's] an incredibly creative individual and an incredibly creative man. ...I can't comment on if he fits in with us, but I can say if he has an ounce of passion for this, that guy can fit in anywhere because he's a very special, special talent," Cody said.
AEW could be playing it cool to keep the big signing under wraps. Bringing Bray Wyatt to AEW could prove to be a great business decision for Khan and Co.
