A top AEW star could return at Dynamite: Grand Slam to seek revenge on the Young Bucks and cost them the AEW World Tag Team Championship match. The star being discussed is Kenny Omega.
A couple of weeks ago on Dynamite, Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher won the Casino Gauntlet tag team match and earned the right to face Matthew and Nicholas Jackson for their tag titles at Grand Slam. The champions have been holding the titles for over five months.
Meanwhile, Kenny Omega has been absent from the promotion since December 2023 due to diverticulitis. However, he made an appearance on Dynamite in May to provide an update on his condition. Despite not being healthy, he was brutally attacked by the Elite. The Cleaner hasn't been on AEW TV since.
Many fans are speculating that Kenny Omega might return at Grand Slam after his recent tweet. While responding to a fan, he revealed that he was in Japan to 'buy some clothes for work,' which could mean he might be getting his gear ready for a return to wrestling.

AEW star Kenny Omega's friend provides an update on his medical condition
The former AEW World Champion has been suffering from diverticulitis since December. He underwent surgery for the illness a few months ago.
While speaking with Love-Spo, Michael Nakazawa revealed that Kenny's return schedule is still undetermined as he hasn't fully recovered.
"Since there is no power in the abdomen to begin with, there is a concern about whether or not one can perform in such a state. The impact is physically quite strong, so you never know how it will affect your internal organs. So I can't say anything about when he [Kenny Omega] will be able to return to work," he said.
It remains to be seen if Kenny Omega could return this Wednesday on Dynamite.
