#5. Former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega loves video games and anime

Former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega is widely regarded as the most outstanding wrestler of our generation.

Over the years, Omega has showcased his different talents to his fans. Outside of wrestling, 'The Cleaner' has a few exciting hobbies, including video games and anime.

CBR caught up with the AEW star ahead of FunimationCon 2020 to discuss various things, including his hobbies.

“I toss my name into almost anything I have an interest or passion for. I have a lot of interests. And as you know, a lot of those interests outside of wrestling include video games and anime. Boku no Hero Academia is one of my favorite series in recent memory that has emerged onto the anime and manga scene. So when I really do love something I always tell anyone who's willing to listen, 'Hey, if there's any opportunity to work with this, I'm there.' Whether I'm the most suitable person for the job or not, if I can just be involved, I want to do what I can if my schedule allows for it,” Omega said.

He added that living in Japan further boosted his interest in gaming and anime. He is frequently invited to events circling his interests.

“So it's a cool hybrid of two of my most intense passions outside of professional wrestling, which are anime and video games, so I'm living a good life right now," Kenny Omega said.

Omega is one of the biggest names in AEW today. His appearances at various pop culture-related events will help the company increase its popularity.
