#1. AEW star CM Punk writes comics
CM Punk decided to revive his wrestling career earlier this year and sign with AEW. The former WWE Superstar has shown the world that he still has a lot left in the tank despite a seven-year-long absence.
Outside of wrestling, Punk loves reading comic books and watching movies. He has also starred in a few horror movies over the past few years.
Marvel has given the AEW star the chance to co-write a few comics, including a Drax series. Appearing on the AEW Unrestricted podcast, Punk revealed that he enjoys writing comics in his free time as a hobby and would continue to do so once he gets some time off wrestling.
"Marvel has never asked me to do anything creator-owned, but I have had other companies… there's a standing offer out there so I can do creator-owned books. I just don't, especially now, have the time… but it's always in the back of my head... It was fun, but writing is a different kind of pressure and I don't do well with deadlines. I'm positive I'll do more and I'll get back to it, but right now it's a little busy; I have more than one job, and it's a little tough," CM Punk said.
It’s good to know that CM Punk might become a full-time comic writer once his wrestling career comes to an end.
