Serena Deeb vs Hikaru Shida at AEW Winter Is Coming
This match got heated from the moment it kicked off on AEW Dynamite. Hikaru Shida dominated early on, taking the fight to Serena Deeb. Shida got a middle rope crossbody but Deeb quickly locked in a submission hold, forcing the former Women's Champion to reach for the bottom rope.
Deeb was all over Shida as the match continued, hitting a nasty looking neckbreaker against the middle rope. Deeb continued to work on Shida's leg, locking in a kneebar. Shida threw desperate right hands to try and break free but it didn't work.

Deeb was in total control, exposing the turnbuckle. She then hit Shida with a neckbreaker into the exposed turnbuckle. Deeb followed it up with a powerbomb followed by repeated knee strikes. Serena Deeb went for another submission attempt but Hikaru Shida reached the ropes again.
Shida made it back to her feet first and threw elbow strikes followed by an axe kick. Deeb locked in a single leg crab, another submission attempt from the wily veteran.
Shida broke free again. Deeb then tried to lock in a figure four but Shida booted her, sending Serena face-first into the exposed turnbuckle, Shida then rolled up Deeb for the win.
