Kenny Omega returned to AEW at Worlds End 2024 last month after being sidelined for a year. It was reported he would resume his duties as the EVP of the Jacksonville-based promotion.
Having Omega back as an EVP must be a relief for the AEW head honcho Tony Khan who is fighting off Jon Moxley and The Death Riders to retain the control of his company. The Purveyor of Violence hasn't made it particularly easy for Khan to handle AEW as The One True King is always on the hunt to spread chaos. However, after The Cleaner, Tony Khan could bring 6ft 8in star Baron Corbin to help him in his rivalry against Mox and his allies.
The Lone Wolf has experience with authority-like roles such as Constable Corbin which could prove valuable in the ongoing war between Tony Khan and Jon Moxley. Khan could bring him to stop Death Riders.
For those who don't know, Baron Corbin was present backstage at AEW Worlds End 2024. This has led fans to speculate that the AEW President and CEO is trying to hire the former WWE Superstar once his 90-day non-compete clause ends.
