Malakai Black made his last AEW appearance at the Full Gear pay-per-view in November 2024. The leader of the House of Black has since been absent from the company.

According to a recent report, it seems that Malakai is believed to be finishing up with All Elite Wrestling and there's no confirmation if he will return to make an appearance on TV in 2025.

So, we're here to look at 4 other AEW stars who could also vanish from Tony Khan's promotion without making a single appearance this year.

#4) Ricky Starks

The controversy surrounding Ricky Starks' status with AEW has been going on for a minute now. The rising star was hailed to be the next big thing in the company, but he has been absent for several months now.

His last match on AEW TV took place in March of last year and word has been relatively quiet on his return. DEFY recently announced his next match, as Starks will take on Kenta at their DEFY: Hundreth event on February 7.

Starks looks committed to working again after previously being pulled from competing at a GCW event. If things aren't patched up, we see Ricky Starks leaving the promotion completely without making any appearances moving forward for the company.

#3) Wardlow

Wardlow has been absent from TV to recover from a knee injury, with his last appearance taking place at Dynamite: Big Business in 2024. At the show, he unsuccessfully challenged Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship.

Mr. Mayhem was once the hottest thing going in All Elite Wrestling, with many looking at him being the next monster to dominate all of his competition. Many hoped that AEW would capitalize on his momentum and eventually turn him into the next Brock Lesnar or Goldberg.

However, his momentum quickly slid off as AEW failed to do anything substantial with him since he aligned himself with Adam Cole last year. Many hoped that he would return at World's End 2024 to reunite with Cole, but it seems that he was instead replaced by Kyle O'Reilly.

There had been rumors going around that WWE had seemingly been interested in recruiting and if Tony Khan doesn't offer Wardlow a return and do something big in 2025, they might come true.

#1 and 2) Rush and Dralistico

La Faccion Ingobernable’s Rush and Dralistico have noticeably been absent from the company ever since the November 16th episode of Collision. A report recently came out that this absence may be due to both stars having a significant amount of backstage heat on them.

This backstage heat stems from an incident on the November 15th episode of Rampage during LFI's match against Alec Price and Richard Holiday. It rubbed a lot of people the wrong way backstage after Rush and Dracalisto got physical with Holiday while he was being checked on by a medic.

This amount of backstage heat from their absences could lead to a larger consequence as both stars might not make it back to the company in 2025. If an apology isn't given by the two stars then perhaps we might not see them in AEW again.
