#2 AEW Dynamite (May 12): SCU vs The Young Bucks
The Young Bucks are currently on the run of their lives in AEW. Not only are they doing some excellent work as heels, but they have also been far more noticeable than during the first year of their time in AEW.
As heels, one of the most enraging things they could do was break up a beloved face tag team. In AEW, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky were the first-ever tag team champions. Even prior to coming to the promotion, Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Daniels were tag team partners. They have worked together for a large part of their careers. As a result, SCU was a force to be reckoned with,
However, on this week’s episode of Dynamite, when The Young Bucks faced SCU, if the champions won, then Daniels and Kazarian would have to break up as a tag team. On the other hand, the tag titles were on the line.
With so much to lose for both teams, neither was willing to hold back. They had one of the best matches of the year. In the end, with a lot of interference from The Good Brothers, The Young Bucks were able to get the win. They focused on Christopher Daniels, blinding him with a spray, before Matt Jackson hit him with a BTE Trigger.
They won the match and ended SCU’s time together in AEW.
#1 AEW Dynamite (February 10): Jon Moxley and Lance Archer vs Kenny Omega and KENTA
Yet another extreme tag team match on AEW Dynamite, the unlikely team of Jon Moxley and Lance Archer face Kenny Omega and KENTA. All four opponents got time with each other, but KENTA and Moxley’s chemistry really showed through.
The two spent a large amount of time battering each other in the ring, while Omega and Archer dealt with each other in the crowd. Just when Archer got the better of Omega later in the match, The Good Brothers interfered and took out Jake Roberts and Lance Archer.
Jon Moxley made his way back but the numbers proved too much as he was able to take out Gallows and Anderson, but KENTA connected the GTS on him.
In the end, The Good Brothers assisted Omega in hitting Archer with a One-Winged Angel to win what could be the best tag team match so far in AEW Dynamite.
