Best and Worst of AEW Dynamite: Beach Break - Ex-WWE Superstar's nine-match winning streak ends; CM Punk annihilated; big mistake with top star's booking

#4 Best: MJF and The Pinnacle destroys CM Punk on AEW Dynamite

Next week on AEW Dynamite, CM Punk and MJF will finally face each other for the first time, but will The Straight Edge Superstar make it to next week? It would be too early to predict, especially after Friedman and his men destroyed a helpless Punk in the middle of the ring.

The Pinnacle coming as a whole has given this storyline a much-needed boost, as the war of words between Punk and MJF was becoming stale due to repetitions. While the clash between the two men deserves to happen on a big stage like Revolution, the company may not want to delay the inevitable that may risk killing the storyline buzz.

#3 Worst: Wardlow back to squashing enhancement talent

Wrestling fans may love seeing Wardlow come out to squash enhancement talent every week, but it's not doing him any favors. After emerging as a legitimate star in his match against CM Punk, Mr. Mayhem appears to be back to square one.

The Conductor of Violence easily defeated Elijah Dean and James Alexander in a two-on-one handicap match on AEW Dynamite. As usual, the audience rallied behind Wardlow as he delivered multiple Powerbomb Symphonies.

The company appears to have been steadily dropping the ball on the 34-year-old. If Tony Khan is keen to hold his inevitable turn on MJF, a TNT Championship program with Sammy Guevara could help him rise to the men's division.
