At 2024 WrestleDream, Bryan Danielson lost the AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley, who betrayed him at All Out 2024, causing the former to retire as a full-time wrestler.

The Death Riders brutally ambushed Danielson after his defeat and sent him home on a stretcher. Although the former WWE Superstar has hung up his full-time wrestling boots, fans are hopeful he will return because he can still play a major role in Tony Khan's promotion as a part-time performer or an authority figure.

Bryan Danielson might seek revenge for the betrayal

Jon Moxley beat Bryan Danielson at WrestleDream and retired him. He went further to inflict more pain on top of the massive embarrassment he handed to The American Dragon.

First, Wheeler Yuta choked him out with a plastic bag, then Claudio Castagnoli targeted his neck with a steel chair. The heels intended to do more damage, but half of the AEW locker room came for the save, and they had to flee.

The night physically drained the former AEW World Champion, leaving an emotional scar on his mind. Therefore, it is highly likely that if and when Bryan Danielson returns, he will seek revenge on The Purveyor of Violence and his friends for stabbing him in the back, but he might need some help to do that.

The Young Bucks may retaliate

The Young Bucks fled AEW after losing their AEW Tag Team Championship to Private Party. Before leaving, they claimed they would work from home as AEW had gotten too chaotic.

Before The One True King launched Blackpool Combat Club 2.0, The Elite was the most dominant faction in AEW. They had a stronghold in the locker room. However, they were chased out of the company once The Death Riders assembled to take over AEW.

To regain control and dominance, the Jackson Brothers could return, align themselves with the rest of The Elite members, and settle their differences with Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega to take down Mox and his allies.

Danielson and The Elite could handle Jon Moxley's group

The Death Riders have become a powerful faction in AEW. Many of the stars who dared to stand against them received brutal punishment. However, Bryan Danielson is among the strongest stars in Khan's locker room. The same goes for The Elite.

If the goal is to defeat The Death Riders, no team is more likely to succeed than the combined might of Danielson and The Elite, who represent the best chance for victory together.
