Bryan Danielson, born on May 22, 1981, is an accomplished American professional wrestler currently associated with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he competes under his real name and is a valued member of the Blackpool Combat Club. Widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of his generation, Danielson gained prominence during his tenure in WWE, performing under the ring name Daniel Bryan from 2009 to 2021.

Known for his technical wrestling prowess, seamless character transformations, and immense popularity with fans, Danielson's career began in 1999 on the independent circuit. He signed an 18-month contract with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) in 2000, later making uncontracted appearances until 2003. Joining Ring of Honor (ROH) in 2002, he became a mainstay, winning the ROH World Championship and ROH Pure Championship.

Danielson unified these titles and was the inaugural winner of the Survival of the Fittest tournament. In 2022, he earned induction into the inaugural class of the ROH Hall of Fame. His global impact extended to Japan, securing titles in Pro Wrestling Noah and New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Returning to WWE in 2009, Danielson faced a brief hiatus in 2010 but rebounded to win the WWE Championship four times, the World Heavyweight Championship, and the United States and Intercontinental Championships. He achieved the status of WWE's 26th Triple Crown Champion and 15th Grand Slam Champion, clinching additional titles, including the WWE Tag Team Championship (as part of Team Hell No) and the SmackDown Tag Team Championship (with Erick Rowan).

Notable accolades include winning the 2011 Money in the Bank ladder match and the "Superstar of the Year" at the 2013 Slammy Awards. Danielson headlined significant WWE events, including WrestleMania in 2014 and 2021.

Bryan Danielson's theme song in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is "Born For Greatness" by Elliot Taylor. This track incorporates elements of "Ride of the Valkyries" and includes a crowd chant from Danielson's indie wrestling days. It was chosen after the consideration of other options, including the high cost and limitations associated with using Europe's "The Final Countdown."

Bryan Danielson, the wrestler formerly known as Daniel Bryan, confirmed the story behind his AEW entrance music in an interview with Bleacher Report. Fans speculated about his entrance music after he joined All Elite Wrestling (AEW), with suggestions including Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" and Europe's "The Final Countdown." However, due to the high cost and limitations associated with using "The Final Countdown," Danielson opted for a new track, "Born For Greatness" by Elliot Taylor.

The new theme incorporates elements of "Ride of the Valkyries" and a crowd chant from his indie wrestling days. Danielson mentioned that his friend, Elliot Taylor, created the song after he reached out with the idea, and he expressed his desire for fans to start chanting the incorporated phrase once again during his entrances.

Bryan Danielson's previous Theme Songs

Bryan Danielson's entrance theme in AEW has been a topic of discussion, particularly regarding the absence of his iconic "Final Countdown" song by Europe. Bryan Danielson previously used "Final Countdown" in Ring of Honor and the independent scene before joining WWE. However, upon his AEW debut at All Out, he came out with a remixed version of his old WWE theme, "Born For Greatness" by Elliott Taylor.

Dave Meltzer revealed the reason behind not using "Final Countdown" in AEW on Wrestling Observer Radio. AEW did attempt to use "The Final Countdown," anticipating an explosive crowd reaction. However, the cost of licensing the song was deemed prohibitive, even for Tony Khan. Instead of this, a remix of "Last of the Valkyrie" was played. Despite the theme change, Bryan Danielson's arrival at AEW was met with a tremendous response from the crowd.
