The Blackpool Combat Club is at war with AEW currently and has unleashed weeks of violence on the Jacksonville-based promotion's roster. Through all this, The Elite has continued to seemingly ignore the ongoing rampage of Jon Moxley and company. Furthermore, recent programming has given birth to speculations that a member of The Elite could turn on the group and join forces with The Purveyor of Violence.
Jack Perry returned to AEW television earlier this year as an ally of The Young Bucks. He has found success as a part of The Elite, winning the TNT Championship at Forbidden Door 2024. He also secured the victory for his team in Anarchy in the Arena at Double or Nothing this year by pinning Bryan Danielson, although he failed to dethrone the latter for the AEW World Title at All Out 2024.
At the same pay-per-view, Jon Moxley and The BCC turned heel on The American Dragon and began their war on the Tony Khan-led promotion. Interestingly, during the September 4 episode of Dynamite before All Out, Moxley crossed paths with The Scapegoat backstage and called him a "sweet kid" in quite an uncharacteristic fashion.
Over the past couple of weeks on the Wednesday night show, The BCC has taken to randomly attacking All Elite talent during their matches and even backstage. Despite watching the carnage from near the ring, The Elite have opted to not interfere against Mox and his team-mates, much to the ire of the rest of the locker room.

Notably, on both occasions, Jack Perry was seen encouraging Kazuchika Okada (on October 16) and AEW EVPs Matthew and Nicholas Jackson (both on October 16 and this week) to walk away from the fight.
The storyline, it has been suggested by fans and viewers, could lead to the former Jungle Boy betraying and exiting The Elite to reveal himself as a new member of The BCC. Whether such an angle will come to pass remains to be seen.
The BCC continued their work this week on AEW Dynamite
The October 23, 2024, episode of Dynamite opened with a message from AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, who rehashed the motivations behind the recent actions of The BCC before issuing an ominous threat.
"A caterpillar doesn't just get to be a butterfly, no. Those wings ain't free. A caterpillar eats itself. A caterpillar is compelled by instinct in nature to cannibalize itself. Imagine what we could become at [All Elite Wrestling], we all have that same instinct. Tonight on Dynamite, just a little piece of someone will be destroyed forever, but it's for their own good. And for the greater good. Always for the greater good," said Moxley.
The group seemingly made good on their promise, as they destroyed retired All Elite star Chuck Taylor moments before the latter's long-time friend Orange Cassidy could make the save.
